Halloween Costume Parade for Preschoolers at Lawrence Library

Looking for things to do in and around Lawrenceville this week? Here are some highlights.

Monday

Asm. Reed Gusciora will speak on marriage equality at the Mercer County Human Relations Council Meeting. Lower level conference Room, Lawrence Township Municipal Building, Meeting begins at 6:30 p.m, then there will be a short break before Reed speaks at 7:30 p.m. 

Tuesday

Halloween Costume Parade for Preschoolers (ages 5 and under with a caregiver). Wear your costume and parade through the library to collect treats. Music with Sing-along Pete, refreshments and crafts will follow. Register online. Lawrence Library, 10 a.m. 

In recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness month, Womanspace will launch the Communities of Light Peace Begins At Home campaign. The event is a symbol of hope for those impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault and helps raise awareness and let victims know that they are not alone. St. Paul's Church in Princeton, 5:30 p.m. 


Wednesday

Radio Disney Junior Halloween Party at MarketFair Mall. Enjoy games, music, prizes and celebrate your favorite Disney Junior shows. Feel free to wear your costume, 11 a.m. to noon. 

Halloween Science, for ages 10-14. Learn exciting experiments for leftover Halloween candy, make toxic-colored slime, craft your very own ghoulish pen. Registration required. Lawrence Library, 4 p.m.

Thursday

Singer/songwriter Miss Amy will present a preschool concert, open to toddlers and preschoolers (with a caregiver) at the Lawrence Library, 10 a.m. 


Friday

American Legion Post 414 Riders host Coach Bag Bingo. Call (609) 947-3014 for tickets. Doors open at 6 p.m., first game is at 7 p.m.
