A 40-something resident of Lawrence Township, Lisa Burke enjoys exploring issues of culture, politics, religion, and community and the spaces in which they intersect. Ten years ago she moved from Jersey City, NJ -- "the largest small town on earth" -- to create a home with her family in Lawrence Township -- "a wonderfilled community village." Lisa is a trained educator with experience in higher education administration, PK-8 and college-level teaching, and non-profit organizational development. A graduate of New Jersey City University and Columbia University, her interests range from healthier cooking and living to exploring the area's hidden treasures to Broadway theater to international human rights to fiscal policy as a feminist issue. So you never know what she'll be examining and writing/speaking about next. Stay tuned!
