Quaker Bridge Mall to Open at 12 a.m. on 'Black Friday'

Quaker Bridge Mall will open at midnight on "Black Friday," Nov. 23, the mall's owner, Simon Property Group, has announced. “After reviewing feedback from our shoppers, we decided it would work best to open the mall at midnight,” said Marian Kapp, director of mall marketing at Quaker Bridge Mall. “We are eager to accommodate all those looking to get an early start on holiday purchases, and expect the mall to be busy upon opening.” In addition to select stores opening at 12 a.m., Quaker Bridge Mall is offering special giveaways to shoppers who decide to turn out early. The first 200 people who enter the mall in the hallway by The Cheesecake Factory will receive goodie bags full of prizes beginning at 4 a.m. Each bag will contain at least …

Frontier Airlines Announces Additional Passenger Routes to Florida, New Orleans from Trenton-Mercer

The low-fare airline, which today (Nov. 16) begins flying between Trenton-Mercer Airport and Orlando, Fla., on Thursday announced that early next year it would also begin flying from Mercer County to Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Tampa Bay, and New Orleans

Frontier Airlines – whose new passenger service from Trenton-Mercer Airport to Orlando, Fla., begins today (Nov. 16) – yesterday announced that it will begin flying from the Mercer County airport to four additional destinations early next year. Beginning on either Jan. 31 or Feb. 1 the Denver-based airline will offer nonstop, low-fare service from Trenton-Mercer to Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Fort Myers, Fla.; Tampa Bay, Fla.; and New Orleans, La. The airline also announced that it would be basing an Airbus A319 aircraft at Trenton-Mercer to operate the expanded service. H&M to Open Store at Quaker Bridge Mall Today

To celebrate the fashion store’s arrival at Quaker Bridge Mall, there will be giveaways up to $300 for the first 100 shoppers in line on Nov. 15 and opening offers starting from $5, according to a news release issued by the mall in Lawrence Township.

In addition to the Sephora cosmetics store that opened earlier this week, six other new stores – H&M, Pandora, Sur La Table, Victoria’s Secret, Stride Rite and The Children’s Place – have recently opened at Quaker Bridge Mall in Lawrence Township, according to a news release issued on behalf of the mall’s owner, Simon Property Group.   “The addition of these new retailers helps to further diversify Quaker Bridge Mall’s portfolio of stores and enhance the overall shopping experience,” Marian Kapp, director of mall marketing, said in the release. “Shoppers now have more options to buy apparel and merchandise for a wide range of age groups and individual tastes.” H&M, known for offering “fashion-forward apparel and quality basics,” opens is …

Hurricane Sandy has caused severe damage to many local businesses. if you're a small business owner, here's some helpful advice for how to recover.

1) File insurance claims as soon as possible, if you haven't already done so. The National Association of Insurance Commissioners offers important advice and tips for filing your claim. The National Flood Insurance Program also provides information on filing a flood insurance claim. 2) The SBA offers several low-interest, long-term disaster loans to small businesses in declared disaster areas, including business physical disaster loans and economic injury disaster loans. You can apply for loans up to $2 million for both uninsured and underinsured damages. You can apply directly online.
