'Keeping Public Schools Public' Topic of Library Talk

Julia Sass Rubin, an associate professor at Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University who is one of the founding members of Save Our Schools NJ, will speak on Dec. 7 at the public library in Lawrence Township.

The Lawrence Township chapter of the League of Women Voters this week will host "Keeping Public Schools Public," a talk on current education policy in New Jersey by Dr. Julia Sass Rubin. The talk will take place Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Township headquarters branch of the Mercer County Library System at 2751 Brunswick Pike (Business Route 1) at the corner of Darrah Lane East. Rubin is an associate professor at Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. She is one of the founding members of Save Our Schools NJ, a nonpartisan, grassroots organization of parents and other concerned residents who believe that all New Jersey children should have access to a high-quality public …
