Mercer County Symphonic Band to Hold Free Winter Concert

The Mercer County Symphonic Band will present its annual Winter Concert at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Mercer County Community College’s Kelsey Theatre. The theatre is located on the college’s West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Rd. Admission is free. Under the direction of Dr. Lou Woodruff, the Mercer County Symphonic Band is celebrating its 32nd season with 60 participating musicians, with ages spanning seven decades. Dr. Woodruff, who is completing his twelfth year as the band’s director, will share the podium with Gary Suabedissen, a flautist who has earned a regional reputation as an outstanding performer, educator and conductor.
