The theft of the 2004 Ford F250 Harley Davidson edition pickup from the Dick Greenfield dealership was reported to police on Monday.
A used pickup truck that was being sold for $20,999 was stolen from the lot of the Dick Greenfield auto dealership sometime between 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, and 5:40 a.m. on Monday, March 11, according to Lawrence Township police spokesman Lt. Mark Ubry. Employees reporting for work at the dealership in the 2700 block of Brunswick Pike (Business Route 1) Monday morning found the black 2004 Ford F250 Harley Davidson edition pickup missing and a fence gate damaged, Ubry said, noting that the truck had been left parked near the gate when the business closed for the weekend. Detectives are investigating the theft of food from the store on Spruce Street, and working to find the 2011 Ford Flex stolen from the driveway of a home in the 1500 block of Lawrence Road.
Lawrence Township detectives are investigating two apparently unrelated crimes that were reported Sunday morning (Aug. 19): a burglary that occurred at Halo Farm and the theft of a vehicle that was taken from the driveway of a home on Lawrence Road (Route 206). Officers responding to investigate a 3:43 a.m. burglar alarm activation at Halo Farm in the 900 block of Spruce Street arrived to find that someone had smashed the store’s glass front door using a rock or similar object, according to township police spokesman Lt. Lawrence Township police are working to locate two vehicles that were stolen recently. The first was taken Friday afternoon from Quaker Bridge Mall, and the other sometime Sunday or Monday from a home on Lawrence Road.
Two vehicles were stolen during separate crimes in Lawrence Township in recent days, township police confirmed. Lt. Mark Ubry, police department spokesman, said the auto thefts took place from Quaker Bridge Mall and a residence along Lawrence Road (Route 206). It was 6:51 p.m. on Friday (July 20) when a township resident called police to report that his 2007 Honda Accord had been stolen from the upper level parking lot outside the Macy’s department store at the mall in the 3300 block of Brunswick Pike (Route 1), according to Ubry. He said the man, who works at Macy’s, told police he last saw his vehicle about 1 o’clock that afternoon and discovered it missing when he went to go home at the ended of his shift. QBM has got to do a better job of patrolling the parking lots. It's almost become part of the news, like the weather or traffic report, that a car was either stollen or broken into at this mall. With all the new, more upscale stores opening up soon, how do they expect new shoppers to spend thier money here if they have to worry about parking here. Just saying...   more ›
