My son has been going to LRPCNS since he was 2 1/2 years old and is about to graduate this spring. We signed up there because of all the glowing recommendations from local families, and the school exceeded my expectations! They make you feel like family and are very good with the children. My youngest is starting there in September and I am excited to see him grow with the same wonderful staff that taught my oldest son.

Located to the rear of the church, Lawrence Road Presbyterian Nursery School has been offering preschool education to children aged two-and-a-half to five since before 1965. The school's mission is to "provide a loving environment based on attitudes of respect and understanding along with fostering educational principles of emotional, social, cognitive and creative growth."
Class sizes are kept small; all classes are taught by state-certified teachers. During the school year, children can learn about art, shapes, colors, letters, numbers, the changing seasons, and different holidays. The students are also offered programs in music and fitness, and can take part in several special events throughout the year.

I was a little hesitant sending my son to preschool and a neighbor told me about LRPCNS. Trusting her I enrolled him. Wow, were my expectations exceeded. My children had such a solid foundation and transition plan to elementary school from an education standpoint and were so loved from a social standpoint. I thought I was dropping them off at my sister's house. It is the best of both worlds and affordable. Thank You LRPCNS!
