Three Not-To-Miss Local Events This Weekend

Build a scarecrow in Weeden Park, explore the Eldridge Park neighborhood, enjoy the Fall Festival at Terhune Orchards.

The Greater Eldridge Park Neighborhood Association will sponsor a Merchants Market Fair. Take a stroll through the business district, meet your local merchants, get to the know the history of the neighborhood and plans for beautification. Local eateries will have specials of the day, plus there will be live music and activities. Eldridge Park Business Corridor, Friday 11 a.m to 9 p.m.

Terhune Orchards will host a Fall Family Fun Festival on the farm. Enjoy pick-your-own apples and pumpkins, pony rides, wagon rides, Corn Stalk maze and a barnyard of farm animals. Plenty of food will be available, plus live, local music each afternoon. Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Lawrenceville Main Street will host Scarecrows In The Village, a family-friendly scarecrow making contest. Weeden Park. Sunday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
