Looking for things to do in and around Lawrenceville this week? Here are some highlights.

Monday

The Lawrence Library presents a Movie Matinee: Pride and Prejudice. Jane Austen's perennially popular story of the game of love among the British upper classes returns to the screen in this polished film adaptation starring Keira Knightley. Refreshments will be served. 2 p.m. 

Tuesday

Author Jason Fagone will discuss and sign copies of his book “Ingenious,” about  engineering, invention and a $10 million prize to create the super-efficient car of the future. Joining Fagone will be the builders of Seven, a four-seat battery electric vehicle that was assembled by hand in an Illinois barn, and nearly won the prize. The car will be on display on Hinds Plaza. Princeton Public Libary, Community Room, 7 p.m. 

Wednesday

Money Morning Flowers will host a Holiday Wreath and Centerpiece Making Class. Enjoy wine and refreshments as you create a holiday wreath or floral centerpiece - or both. 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. 

The Lawrence Library will hold a Snowflake Ornament session for ages 4-11. Learn how to make a snowflake ornament using beads and pipe cleaners - perfect for winter decorations — All materials will be provided. 6:30-7:30 p.m. 

Thursday

Princeton Farmers & Crafters Market will feature fresh produce, fruits, cheeses, cakes, crafts & more. Princeton Public Library, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Friday

The Princeton Singers return for their popular holiday concert, “A Child’s Christmas in Wales.” Features music complementing Dylan Thomas’s classic Christmas story of misrule and mayhem in the life of a country boy at Christmas.  Special Guest Narrator Actor Christopher Coucill will narrate. Trinity Church, 6 p.m. & 8 p.m. 

The Arts Council of Princeton presents "Sound Bites" featuring Sarah Donner. Sarah features quirky lyrics, powerful vocals, punchy guitar, and a candid stage presence that has the audience embracing her. She will be joined by special guests Jeanette Lynne and Sheltered Turtle. The concert will feature a loose holiday theme. Doors open at 7:30 pm. concert begins at 8 p.m.
