Joe’s Crab Shack Hosts Third Annual Fundraiser for Special Olympics New Jersey

The Lawrence restaurant will donate 10 percent of all checks on Oct. 20 that are accompanied by a special coupon that can be printed out from the Special Olympics New Jersey website.

Patrons of Joe’s Crab Shack in Lawrence Township will have the opporunity to support Special Olympics New Jersey (SONJ) when they dine at the restaurant in the 3100 block of Brunswick Pike (Route 1) on Thursday, Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Restaurant guests just have to print out a special coupon from the Special Olympics New Jersey homepage, and present that coupon at the restaurant. By doing so, 10 percent of their check will be donated by Joe's to SONJ.

The fundraiser is one of many Law Enforcement Torch Run activities that take place throughout the year.

Local law enforcement and Special Olympics New Jersey athletes will be on hand to wait on tables and collect “tips” to help support the more than 23,000 Special Olympics athletes who train and compete in New Jersey.
