Today: Thunderstorms, Figurines for Teens

Patch is here to help you start your day.

The final month of summer is here with a literal bang.

Thunderstorms are predicted for Thursday afternoon bringing in a damp start to August. Here's your daily roundup of all things Lawrenceville.

1. Today's forecast calls for a high of 75 degrees with an 80 percent chance of rain. Isolated thunderstorms in the morning are predicted to become more widespread by the afternoon.

2. Looking for something different to do with your kids to escape the wet weather? Head to the Lawrence library for their program called Figurines for Teens. Develop your fashion design talents and imagination to create your own wooden people or people-shaped creatures. Pre-registration was required so contact the library to find out if they have available space. Click here for more information.
