Winter Nights Window Decorating Contest

GEPNA announces its first window decorating contest for the local business district. The Greater Eldridge Park Neighborhood Association is inviting business owners to show off their Holiday spirit by entering the Winter Nights Decorating Contest. There is no cost to enter the contest, which is open to all businesses within the GEPNA Business Corridor. Awards will be given for best decorated windows. A panel of judges combined with the public vote will decide the winners of the contest. Trophies and prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place. Businesses will be judged on creativity, attractiveness, and theme. Only those decorations visible from the street will be judged. Residents are encouraged to visit the area to cast their votes. Each business will have a beautiful decorated box to hold the votes.

Be sure to make a trip around the GEPNA Business Corridor after dark to enjoy these wonderful displays at night where many of the stores have their displays lit up.

Final Winners

First Prize: Trophy and a basket of local wine, cheeses, and crackers.

Second Prize: Trophy and a basket of locally baked

Breads, cookies.

Third prize: a plaque and a jar of honey from the Nature Center

Rules

Contest will be based upon front window display.  Windows must be decorated by Dec. 1st.  No entry fee is required.

Winners Announced

December 23rd at the First Place Winner’s business. Mayor or Council Member will present.
