Playing a tough defensive opponent on Saturday, Ashley Ramos helped set the Boston Breakers up for a few goals while being strongly supported by Emma Monaghan and Kendall Jodoin. Sophia Cook and Lexie Loughran dribbled into open space to send some amazing passes directly in front of the net. Performing a few give-and-go passes, Lily Bowes and Hayley Jodoin created fantastic scoring opportunities down both sides of the field.
Belarus continued their winning ways this past Saturday beating Morocco, 5-2. Two goals were scored by Christian Fusco, and Aramis Gutierrez, Danny McGann, and Dominic Madigan also scored. Fusco also teamed up with Dominic Perrino and Beshoy Beshai to provide the necessary goaltending to hold Morocco to two scores. The dynamic duo of Alex Wolinski and Ryan Stevens provided excellent backfield defense for the Belarus squad, with Shaan Virdee and Raj Patel moving the ball well.
Despite a 1-0 loss to Honduras, Uruguay played its best soccer match this season and had several shots bounce off the post. Uruguay’s defense—anchored by goalies Jorge Conde and Yusuf Shaikh, and defenders Cameron Miller, Braeden McDermott, and Neel Revankar—repeatedly turned Honduras away.
Great Britain started out strong, but in the end suffered a 8-4 loss to Senegal. Great Britain never gave up thanks to Seamus Meagher's consistent effort, Matthew Rotman's hustle, and Chase Panfili's aggressive play. Dino Panfili scored a hat trick and George Bishay scored on a penalty kick.
