Lawrence Girls' Tennis Team Seeded No. 12 in Upcoming Playoffs

The first high school sports playoff season is right around the corner.

The girls’ tennis team playoffs are set to begin Thursday, with the individual and doubles state tournaments beginning this weekend.

Seedings were announced and posted on nj.com Monday morning.

Princeton was seeded second in Central Jersey Group 3, and will face No. 15 Jackson Liberty.

Lawrence was seeded No. 12 and will face No. 5 Hopewell Valley.

Northern Burlington is the No. 1 seed in the 15-team field.

Princeton sophomore Christina Rosca is the No. 4 seed in the state singles tournament, which commences Saturday at the Mercer County Park Tennis Center, 9 a.m. Rosca won the first singles title in this year’s Mercer County Tennis tournament, according to The Trentonian.
