A team of all-stars from Lawrenceville Little League Softball recently participated in the New Jersey District 12 tournament for 9- and 10-year-old girls. The girls were chosen from the league’s five teams, three at the minor league level and two at the major league level.

The Lawrence All-Stars competed against 9-10 all-star teams from the towns of Florence in Burlington County and New Egypt in Ocean County. Despite being eliminated from the double-elimination tournament, the girls benefited from facing tough competition and from intense practices over the course of three weeks to develop their skills.
