Free, public birding trip at Mercer County Park Northwest with Washington Crossing Audubon Society

Join Washington Crossing Audubon Society (www.washingtoncrossingaudubon.org) from 8:00 – 11:30 AM on Saturday, April 7, for a free, public birding field trip led by Sharyn Magee and Lou Beck at Mercer County Park Northwest, also known as the “The Pole Farm.” Come with us as we walk the paths of this historic park and observe its diverse flora and fauna. Contact Lou Beck at (609) 737-0070 for additional information.

Directions: From the traffic light at Manors Corner shopping center on Pennington-Lawrenceville Road take Keefe Road towards Princeton for 1.1 miles to the bend where it meets Cold Soil Road. The park entrance is on the left through a chain link gate at that bend, with a white barn on the left inside the gate. Go straight on the macadam road to the parking area. From Princeton, take Cold Soil Road 1.1 miles past Blackwell Road to the bend, and look for the entrance on the right.
