Science & Discovery Night to be Held Friday Evening

The event will take place 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at Lawrenceville Elementary School.

The Lawrenceville Elementary School PTO will host Science & Discovery Night on Friday, Jan. 27.

The event will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the school at 40 Craven Lane.

Children will have the opportunity to explore with hands-on activities and demonstrations led by local scientists. The Peaceable Kingdom will bring a petting zoo and exotic animals.

Science Cheerleader Lauren, of the Philadelphia Soul, will emphasize the importance of Science. Also, Sebastiani School of Fencing will demonstrate the sport of fencing using electric equipment for scoring.

Members of the Amateur Astronomers Association of Princeton will be available to view the night sky with students.

Admission is $5 per child, free for adults and children under 3. Food will be available for sale during the event.
