School District Seeks Input on 2012-2013 Budget

Parents of Lawrence Township public school district students can offer their input on budgeting priorities for the 2012-2013 school year during two meetings Wednesday night with Superintendent Crystal Lovell and Business Administrator Tom Eldridge.

Lawrence Township public school district administrators are busy working on the budget for the 2012-2013 school year and want to hear from parents about what the district’s funding priorities should be.

Two meetings will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, one for parents of students in pre-Kindergarten through sixth grade and the other for parents of students in the middle school and high school.

With shrinking state aid and continuing economic difficulties, we again will face many challenges as we draft the 2012-2013 budget. We'd like your input on what you value in LTPS and feel is important to keep in the budget, if possible. What are your priorities?” the district said in a news release.
