Eight of the chosen educators were selected for the experience on Nov. 30, 2012 when their names were drawn from more than 110 attendees at Arcadia’s annual Counselor Workshop and Luncheon sponsored by the University’s Office of Enrollment Management.

Four of the high school educators were chosen as participants through the Pay it Forward – Get It Back Scholarship program for Arcadia students.

The four educators were chosen based on essays written by current undergraduate Arcadia students about a high school teacher or guidance counselor who dramatically impacted their lives. The students whose essays were selected also receive a $1,000 scholarship to be used towards future study abroad or domestic study away experiences through Arcadia University.
