New Lawrence HS Assistant Principal Hired

Jessica Cincotta was hired as the new assistant principal at Lawrence High School.

Lawrence High School will welcome a new assistant principal in September. The Lawrence Township Board of Education approved the hiring of Jessica Cincotta as the school's newest administrator in the 2012-2013 school year during its Wednesday meeting.

Following the resignation of David Milinowicz, Jessica Cincotta was hired as a 10-month assistant principal at Lawrence High School effective Sep. 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. Cincotta holds a Masters in Education (MEd) in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University and an undergraduate degree in music from Illinois Wesleyan University. She is the former principal of the Pace Charter School in Hamilton.

Cincotta has worked for American schools in Paraguay and Bolivia. At The College of New Jersey last year, she supervised student teachers all over the world, and taught a 10-day introduction to educational administration class in Bangkok, Thailand.

In addition to welcoming a new assistant principal, the board approved the hiring of five new teachers and a new social worker. They also accepted the resignation of instrumental music teacher Lee Neamand effective June 30, 2012. Neamand resigned due to personal reasons, according to the board of education agenda.
