LHS' Dowers Wins Sectional Title in Shot Put
Having won in the Indoor Track Central Jersey Group 2 Sectional Finals, Lawrence High School senior Asia Dowers advances to compete for the state shot put championship.

Lawrence High School senior Asia Dowers recently won the Shot Put at the Indoor Track Central Jersey Group 2 Sectional Finals making her the Sectional Champion in that event.
Her winning throw of 36-feet, 11-inches qualified her for the State Championship in that event.

Other State qualifiers are Nancy Pearson, who tied for third in the Pole Vault (7'6"), and Marta Trzcinska, fifth in the 400 meters (102.53).
Representing the boys is Karaj Pettis, who placed fifth in the 55 meter High Hurdles (8.06).
