Lawrenceville Elementary School to Host Blood Drive

The blood drive will take place at the school on Thursday, Nov. 15, from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Lawrenceville Elementary School, in cooperation with the Community Blood Council of New Jersey, will hold its annual Blood Drive this Thursday, Nov. 15 from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the school on Craven Lane.

The blood council will donate $10 per unit of blood donated to the award-winning Lawrenceville Elementary School garden.

According to the UNC School of Medicine, between just over 40 and 70 percent of United States residents will need donated blood or blood products in their lifetime, yet less than 5 percent of the eligible population donates.
