High School Students Design Products for Science Fair

The students created buttons for Lawrence Intermediate School's Science & Engineering Fair, which will take place this Saturday, Feb. 23. The public is invited to attend the event.

Lawrence High School Transition recently students completed a button order for the Lawrence Intermediate School Science & Engineering Fair.

The high school students made 175 buttons for fair participants.

The job involved preparing the art work for the buttons, assembling the buttons, preparing and assembling the LHS Transition logo labels and keeping track of inventory.

After the job was completed, an invoice was prepared and sent to LIS.

The science fair, being held this Saturday, Feb. 23, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the school on Eggerts Crossing Road, is free and open to the public.

More than 150 projects created by students in Grades 4 to 8 will be displayed and judged.

Judges will review all projects and interview students about their work. Prizes will be given for each grade level, with the awards ceremony taking place at 3:45 p.m.
