Free Adult English Classes Begin Tonight (9/20)

The 12-week program at Slackwood School is the result of a partnership involving Lawrence Township Public Schools, the English School of Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, and the Lawrence Township Community Foundation.

Lawrence Township Public Schools and the English School of are partnering to offer free adult English classes on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. at Slackwood Elementary School.

Registration and the first class will be held tonight (Sept. 20) at the school at 2060 Princeton Pike.

Thanks to funding from the Lawrence Township Community Foundation, the program is free and includes 12 classes, books and tutoring. Space is limited, however, and anyone interested is urged to arrive early for registration. Childcare will not be offered.
