Mercer County Symphonic Band Spring Concert

The Mercer County Symphonic Band will present a Spring Concert at Kelsey Theater on the West Windsor campus of Mercer County Community College on Wednesday evening June 1, at 8 p.m.  Admission is free. 

The Band, under the direction of Dr. Louis Woodruff, has earned a reputation for high quality and entertaining performances, drawing large audiences.  In its 31st season, the Band is comprised of sixty area musicians spanning three generations in age. 

The performance will feature a wide range of selections designed to appeal to a broad variety of musical tastes, including contemporary compositions, music from Broadway shows and movies, classical transcriptions and traditional marches.   

The Band is supported by the Arts and Communication Division of Mercer County Community College, with funding from the Mercer County Cultural and Heritage Commission, through a grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
