Ben Franklin Students Send Books to Taiwan
Students at Lawrence Township's Ben Franklin Elementary School donated the books to students at their "sister school," Jian Elementary School in New Taipei, Taiwan

On Dec. 8, 2011, the Ben Franklin Elementary School donated books signed by its students to its sister school Jian Elementary School in New Taipei, Taiwan.
Earlier in 2011, to promote the importance of environmental education and sustainability.

The students from both schools frequently exchange letters and pictures, and even enjoy seeing and speaking with another via Skype.
Thanks to the funds raised from the Ben Franklin Elementary School Book Fair, the school was able to send new books to the school in Taiwan.
