Ben Franklin Students Reach Reading Milestone

Students at Lawrence Township's Ben Franklin Elementary School were awarded for having read for more than one million minutes outside of school.

Last week, students at Ben Franklin Elementary School surpassed their “Million Minutes of Reading” goal.

On Tuesday, June 7, Principal Chris Turnbull announced that Ben Franklin students had read 1,026,797 minutes outside of school.

In recognition of their accomplishment, students were awarded with a large inflatable obstacle course that they were able to enjoy throughout the day.
