Ben Franklin School Holds Contest to Find New Logo

Ben Franklin Elementary School, which opened in September 1961, will celebrate its 50th anniversary during the 2011-2012 school year. The logo contest is one of the many events the school is planning to mark its golden anniversary.

In preparation for its 50th anniversary to be celebrated during the 2011-2012 school year, Ben Franklin Elementary School is holding a contest to design a new logo that will be used on T-shirts, letterhead and other items during the year-long celebration.

Any current or past Ben Franklin School student still enrolled in the Lawrence Township school district is eligible to participate in the contest

The deadline for submissions is May 1.

Submissions must include a logo design, the designer’s name, grade level and a brief explanation of the logo. All entries should be emailed to Principal Chris Turnbull at cturnbull@ltps.org. Contact Turnbull with questions or requests for additional information.

The school is also still seeking out . Anyone with items to donate or loan is asked to contact Lori Tennant in the office at Ben Franklin School by phone at (609) 671-5540 extension 4002 or email at ltennant@ltps.org.
