Apply Now for District's 3-Year-Old Preschool Program

Applications must be submitted no later than March 8. Class size is limited to 16. A lottery will be held to place eight typically developing students in the class, while eight special needs students will be placed in the class according to state law.

The Lawrenceville Elementary School is now accepting applications for the district’s preschool program for 3-year-olds.

This integrated preschool program will service both typically developing and special needs children. Classes will meet for 2 ½ hours a day, five days per week.

The 3-year-old class will be limited to 16 students.

Special needs students will be placed in the program by identification, evaluation and eligibility procedures outlined in New Jersey Administrative Code.

Placement for eight typically developing three year-old children will be based on a lottery to be held on March 14, 2013. Tuition cost for this program is $300 per month.

Eligibility for this program requires that children must be at least three years of age on or before Oct. 1, 2013, must be a Lawrence Township resident, and must be toilet trained.

Lottery applications are available at all of the township elementary school main offices, the Lawrence Township Board of Education office or on-line at www.ltps.org
