Annual LES Science & Discovery Night to be Held Friday

The event at Lawrenceville Elementary School on Jan. 25 is "open to all families interested in a fun evening of science and discovery."

The Lawrenceville Elementary School PTO will host its annual Science & Discovery Night on Friday, Jan. 25., from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the school at 40 Craven Lane.

Children will have the opportunity to explore with hands-on activities and demonstrations led by local parents, scientists and engineers.

The Peaceable Kingdom will be bringing a petting zoo and exotic animals, while Bricks4Kids will host a Lego exploration room.

There will be a "flight room," and multiple hands-on experiments including "making bouncing balls and playing with goo."

While the event is geared for children in kindergarten through third grade, it offers fun for entire families.

Admission is $5 per child. Adults and children under 3 are free.

Food including pizza will be sold during the event.
