Zoning Board Approves Plan to Convert Offices into Church

Straightway Baptist Church on Wednesday received approval from the Lawrence Township zoning board to turn a 5,000 square foot office building at 680 Whitehead Road into a church, NJ.com reports

The zoning board approved the use variance by a 6-0 vote.

Once the site plan is approved, Straightaway plans to construct a 104-seat church, plus a fellowship room, nursery and office, according to NJ.com. The congregation will then move from its current meeting location at the Clarion Hotel Palmer Inn on Route 1 in West Windsor.
