Township, County Offices Closed for Good Friday

All Lawrence Township municipal offices and most Mercer County offices and facilities will be closed today, Friday, April 6, in observance of Good Friday.

Lawrence Township’s , located at 3701 Princeton Pike, will be open on Saturday, April 7, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The ecological center is open during those hours, with the exception of holidays, Monday through Friday year-round and on Saturdays from April through November for township residents to drop off brush and leaves or pick up mulch. Commercial vehicles are prohibited on Saturdays.

As for Mercer County offices, the following will be closed April 6 and reopen on Monday, April 9:

• McDade Administration Building
• Criminal Courthouse
• Civil Courthouse
• County Clerk’s Office
• County Surrogate’s Office

Mercer County Connection will be closed April 6 but will be open, Saturday, April 7.

All branches of the Mercer Library System will be closed Good Friday, but will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 7, and will close again for Easter, Sunday, April 8.

The following county offices and facilities will operate as normal during the entire holiday weekend:

• Correction Center
• the Marina and Indoor Tennis Center at Mercer County Park
• all four county golf courses
• Equestrian Center
• Wildlife Center
• County Sheriff’s Office
• Emergency Services Communications Center
