Cheryl Kastrenakes, executive director of the Greater Mercer TMA, will be the guest speaker at the Lawrence Township Growth and Redevelopment Committee’s next meeting, which will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday (May 10) in the conference room on the lower level of the municipal building at 2207 Lawrence Rd. The public is invited to attend.

Greater Mercer TMA describes itself as “a non-profit, public private partnership dedicated to reducing traffic congestion and improving mobility in and around Mercer County. The association consists of large and small employers, local governments, authorities and state agencies who share a commitment to providing transportation choices that are good for commuters, good for business and good for the environment.”

At its annual business awards program in 2010, the Growth & Redevelopment Committee surveyed attendees and found that respondents view transportation issues as important to the success of their businesses.
