National Political Strategist to Visit Lawrence Thursday

Leading national pollster and campaign strategist will participate in a Q&A on Rider University's campus in Lawrence Township on Dec. 1.

The Rebovich Institute for New Jersey Politics will present "An Evening with Mark Mellman" on Thursday, Dec. 1, in the Mercer Room, inside Daly Dining Hall, on Rider’s Lawrence Township campus.

There will be a reception at 6 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. presentation and Q&A.

Rider is located at 2083 Lawrence Rd. (Route 206).

Mellman, a leading national pollster and communication strategist, is a significant figure on the national political scene. Mellman has helped guide the campaigns of some 18 U.S. senators, eight governors and more than two-dozen members of Congress, as well as numerous state and local officials.

His presentation, "The National Political Landscape Heading into 2012," is sure to be enlightening.

The presentation will be preceded by a welcome from Ben Dworkin, director of the Rebovich Institute for New Jersey Politics.
