Mercer County Government Holiday Schedule

Editor's Note: The following is a news release issued by the Mercer County Administration.

Most Mercer County offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26, in observance of Christmas, and Monday, Jan. 2, for New Year’s observance.

The following County offices will be closed and will reopen for business on Tuesday, Dec. 27, and Tuesday, Jan. 3:

• McDade Administration Building
• Criminal Courthouse
• Civil Courthouse
• Mercer County Connection
• Mercer County Clerk’s Office
• Mercer County Surrogate’s Office

All branches of Mercer County Library will also be closed Sunday, Dec. 25 and Monday, Dec. 26, and Sunday, Jan. 1, and Monday, Jan. 2.

The LIHEAP program will be closed Mondays, Dec. 26, and Jan. 2. Howell Living History Farm will be closed Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1.

The following offices or facilities will have modified hours:

• Mercer County Tennis Center: open Dec. 24 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; closed Dec. 25; open Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Mercer County Skating Center: is closed Dec. 25 but will have sessions from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 24, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 31 and 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Jan. 1.
• All County golf courses will be closed Dec. 25. Mountain View and Mercer Oaks West will be open 8 a.m. to noon Dec. 24, 31 and Jan. 1. Princeton Country Club and Mercer Oaks East will be open 8 a.m. to noon Jan. 1.
• The Equestrian Center will be closed Christmas Day but will be open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 24, 7 a.m.- 8 p.m. Dec. 26, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 30 and will be closed Jan. 31.
• The Wildlife Center will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1.

The following County offices and facilities will remain open:

• Trenton-Mercer Airport (except for Administration Offices)
• Mercer County Correction Center
• Mercer County Sheriff’s Office
• Mercer County Emergency Services Communication Center
