Lawrence Sample Election Ballot Available for Review

Voters in Lawrence Township will fill three seats on township council during Tuesday's General Election, and also help decide several state and county races.

During the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 8, registered voters throughout New Jersey, including those in Lawrence Township, will have the opportunity to vote for candidates in various local, county and state races.

In Lawrence Township, voters will decide which candidates will fill three seats on the township council. Vying for those three four-year seats are Democratic candidates Cathleen Lewis, David Maffei and Michael Powers, and Republican candidates Kyle Collins, Colette Coolbaugh and Falk Engel.

The three seats that are up for grabs are currently held by Powers, and . Bostock, currently the lone Republican on the five-person township council, and Mount both announced earlier this year that they would not seek reelection.

Voters will also decide whether or not to approve a state constitutional amendment to allow sports betting at Atlantic City casinos and horse racetracks.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Due to , residents of Lawrence Township Districts 3, 6, 8 and 11 who would normally go to the firehouse in the 1200 block of Lawrence Road (Route 206) to vote will instead cast their votes at the Lawrence Township Emergency Medical Services building at 165 Pilla Ave., which is located behind the firehouse.

Voting for Lawrence Township Districts 1, 4, 7, 15 and 20 will take place at the Lawrenceville Fire Co. firehouse at 64 Phillips Ave.

Voting for Lawrence Township Districts 2, 9 and 10 will take place at the Slackwood Fire Co. firehouse at 21 Slack Ave.

Voting for Lawrence Township District 5 will take place at Project Freedom clubhouse on Freedom Blvd.

Voting for Lawrence Township Districts 12, 13, 14 and 19 will take place at the Lawrence Senior Center at 30 Darrah Lane East.

Voting for Lawrence Township District 16 will take place at the Lawrence Square Village clubhouse on Reed Court.

Voting for Lawrence Township Districts 17, 18 and 21 will take place at the Lawrence Township Municipal Building at 2207 Lawrence Rd.
