Lawrence Township Offers Free Flu Shots for Seniors
Lawrence Twp. is hosting three flu clinics over the month of October.
Editor's Note: The following is a news release issued by the Lawrence Township Administration:
The Lawrence Township Health Department conducts flu clinics for residents during October.
[The flu clinics being held at the Lawrence Senior Center on Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. through 10:30 a.m. and Oct. 22 between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. are reserved for residents over 60-years of age or with a chronic medical condition. A flu clinic open to all Lawrence residents will take place on Oct. 29 at the Lawrence Municipal Building between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.]

In order to receive a flu vaccine from the Health Department, individuals must show proof of residency.
There is a charge of $15.00 for a flu shot with the exception of residents over the age of sixty years and residents with a chronic illness.

To be exempt from the fee, individuals must show proof of age 60 years or older or have a prescription from their physician for a flu shot.
