Lawrence Township Council to Meet Tonight

The agenda for the Lawrence Township Council meeting that will be held at 6:30 p.m. today (March 20) include resolutions pertaining to the 2012 municipal budget and the municipal tax increase referendum.

The next meeting of Lawrence Township Council will take place today, Tuesday, March 20, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the township municipal building at 2207 Lawrence Rd. (Route 206).

According to the agenda, council will introduce two ordinances and take action on 11 resolutions.

One of the ordinances set for introduction will (following adoption at the next council meeting in April) formally increase township sewer usage rates. The need to increase sewer rates was .   

Several of the resolutions on the agenda pertain to the 2012 municipal budget and the municipal tax increase referendum that will be put to voters on April 17.
