Lawrence Man Loses Appeal of Stalking Conviction

A jury last year convicted Denis Kerrigan of stalking the manager of the Lawrence Square Village condominium complex during the summer of 2006. A state appeals panel on Friday refused to overturn that conviction.

A New Jersey state superior court appeals panel on Friday, Oct. 14, decided that it would not overturn the conviction of Dennis Kerrigan, who during a trial last year was found guilty of stalking the manager of his condominium complex, Lawrence Square Village, in Lawrence Township during 2006, according to court records and a report published by The Times of Trenton.

“Our review of the complete transcript satisfies us that there was no prosecutorial misconduct requiring reversal of defendant’s conviction,” the appellate judges wrote in their opinion on Kerrigan’s appeal.
