For the past decade, the park commission has typically offered a free day of golf to county golf card holders on New Year’s Day. Due to snow this year, the annual event was postponed until this weekend.

“A free round of golf at one of our four terrific golf courses is a great opportunity to dust off the clubs and start the season for many of our local golfers,” park commission Executive Director Kevin Bannon said.
