Closing Arguments Expected Tuesday in Trial of Trenton Mayor Tony Mack

Tony Mack and his brother were indicted on charges of extortion, bribery and fraud.

After nearly a month-long trial, closing arguments and jury instructions are expected Tuesday in the trial of Trenton Mayor Tony Mack and his brother, Raphiel Mack.

The brothers were indicted on charges of extortion, bribery and mail and wire fraud in connection with a scheme to accept $119,000 in bribes in exchange for Mayor Mack’s official actions and influence in assisting cooperating witnesses in the development of an automated parking garage on City-owned land.
