Additional Flu Clinic Scheduled by Lawrence Township

With influenza activity increasing throughout New Jersey, the Lawrence Township Health Department will administer flu vaccinations to township residents Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 16.

Influenza activity is increasing throughout New Jersey and nationwide. The New Jersey Department of Health encourages residents to receive a flu shot to protect themselves and others.

The Lawrence Township Health Department will be conducting a flu clinic for residents on Wednesday, Jan. 16, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The clinic will be held at the Lawrence Township Municipal Building located at 2207 Lawrence Rd.

In order to receive a flu vaccine at this clinic, individuals must show proof of residency.

There is a charge of $15 for a flu shot with the exception of residents over the age of 60 years and residents with a chronic illness.

To be exempt from the fee, individuals must show proof of age 60 years or older or have a prescription from their physician for a flu shot.
