Thieves recently targeted more than half a dozen cars in a Lawrence neighborhood, breaking into and rifling through the vehicles over a ten hour period overnight.
It happened between overnight between Sunday, Dec. 29 and Monday, Dec. 30 on Devon Avenue, Irwin Place, Gedney Road and Fieldboro Drive.
All of the vehicles were unlocked, according to Lawrence Township Police, which is investigating the string of incidents.

Stolen items included wallets, cash, credit cards, a driver's license, gift cards, debit card, loose change, paperwork, a cell phone and an EZ pass. A wallet driver's license, home alarm remote and empty coin trays were later recovered.
