Video Shows How Red Light Camera System Works

The video was produced by the company that later this year will install a red light camera system at the intersection of Brunswick Pike (Route 1) and Franklin Corner Road/Bakers Basin Road in Lawrence Township.

American Traffic Solutions (ATS), the Arizona-based company that will soon install a red light camera system at the intersection of Brunswick Pike (Route 1) and Franklin Corner Road/Bakers Basin Road in Lawrence Township, recently released a “How It Works” video containing a step-by-step explanation of how the traffic cameras work to document potential red-light violations.

The video shows how the cameras capture potential violations, how the data gets processed and how the data is subsequently reviewed by law enforcement authorities.

“As the country’s leader in road safety technology, ATS is committed to working to raise awareness and educate the public about how red-light safety cameras work,” ATS President and CEO James Tuton said in a news release.
