Undercover Prostitution Sting Nets Two Arrests
The arrests happened at the Howard Johnson Motor Lodge.
Two women were arrested at the Howard Johnson Motor Lodge after an undercover police officer was offered sex in exchange for money.
According to Lawrence Township Police, a male officer answered an online ad at Backpage and was offered sex in exchange for money. When officers arrived at the motel on Aug. 15 around 3:30 p.m., they made two arrests.
Kaycee Evans, 31, of Camden, was charged with prostitution and promoting prostitution; police say she was one who placed the online ad and propositioned the officer. Also arrested was another woman in the motel room, India Ragin, 22, of Philadelphia. Ragin was charged with promoting prostitution because she also placed an online ad.

Evans was released on a summons. Ragin had an outstanding warrant and was sent to Mercer County Corrections Center in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
