Two Lawrence Men Charged With Burglaries, Thefts

Police say some of the stolen property has been recovered.

 

Two Lawrence Township residents have been charged with burglary and theft after police say they worked together to rob homes on Ditmars Avenue and Roxboro Road. 

Jualian Rodriguez, 19, of Puritan Avenue, was arrested on April 29 and charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft. He was released on 10 percent of $30,000 bail.

Also arrested was Marion Rojas-Escobar, 18, whose last known address was on Princeton Pike. He was jailed after he was unable to pay 10 percent on $100,000 bail. Rojas-Escobar was also charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft.

The burglary on Ditmars Avenue happened on April 25. A resident reported that someone entered the home through an unlocked window and stole an iPad, a lapto, and two iPods. The total value of the electronics was about $2,000, police said.
