Two Burglaries, One Attempted Burglary Reported to Lawrence Police

Two burglaries and one burglary attempt were recently reported in Lawrence Township.

• On Sunday, Aug. 18, police were called to Larry's Wine and Spirits at 4:11 a.m. They found the front window was broken out, but no suspect was located. The owner of the store arrived and found an undisclosed amount of cash was gone and $90 worth of cigarettes stolen. 
• On Monday, Aug. 19, Off. Dunn was on patrol when he discovered a broken window at Majewski Corp. and some of the metal bars securing the windows had been bent. No one had been able to enter the building, however. 
• On Monday, Aug. 19, police responded to Jiffy Lube at 4:52 a.m. and found the garage door to one of the bays had been forced open. Police checked inside, but found nobody there. The manager discovered that an undisclosed amount of cash had been stolen.
