Trenton Man Faces Multiple Charges After Captured Fleeing Stolen Vehicle

The incident happened on Nov. 20.

A 19-year-old Trenton man faces multiple charges after police allege that he was inside a stolen car and attempted to elude authorities. 

Jahmeer Green was charged with receiving stolen property, obstructing administration of law and attempting to elude police. He was sent to Mercer County Corrections Center in lieu of bail. 

The incident happened on Nov. 20 at 3:14 a.m.

According to Lawrence Township Police, Sgt. Leck was on patrol by Brunswick Circle when he saw a suspicious vehicle- a Honda Pilot- near Lake Drive. The Honda allegedly made an illegal left turn, going through a red light- and drove south on Route 1. Leck ran the license plate, which came back as stolen out of Lower Makefield, Pa. 

Police followed the vehicle into Trenton, where it finally struck a parked vehicle. According to Lawrence police, four or five people- including Green- got out of the Honda immediately after the crash.

Green was apprehended, but the others got away. 

According to Police, when the doors to the Honda opened, a laptop computer and other items fell out of the car. 

Trenton and Ewing Police also had responded to the incident.
