Trenton Man Charged With Shoplifting Nearly $600 of Clothes from Sears

A Trenton man was charged with shoplifting after he allegedly stole nearly $600 worth of clothing from Sears on Jan. 21.

Wilberto Cortez, 45, was released on a summons.

According to Lawrence Township Police, Cortez was in Sears shortly before 2 p.m. when he was observed putting two coats on, then moving to other departments and putting shirts, then intimates, into a shopping bag.

Cortez was stopped by store security.

Maybe Victoria's Secret should look at the security going on at Sears and get some pointers. At least they catch their shoplifters!
