A 38-year-old Trenton man was arrested after he allegedly broke into the Go Calendar Store at Quaker Bridge Mall with a crowbar, according to Lawrence Township Police.
Jeffery Pulero was charged with burglary, hindering apprehension, giving a false name and possession of burglary tools. He was sent to Mercer County Corrections Center in lieu of bail.
The incident happened on Saturday, Oct. 5.
According to police, it was approximately 10 a.m. when the manager of the Go Calendar store at Quaker Bridge Mall heard a noise in the back storage room.
When he went to investigate, the manager said saw Pulero, who told him he was performing renovations. The manager said no renovations were scheduled and asked the man to leave. The manager claimed Pulero was holding a crowbar.
Pulero allegedly left out the back door and that's when the manager called mall security. Security found Pulero in the back corridor of the food court and held him until police arrived.
An investigation showed forced entry into Go Calendar's storage room. Det. Smith is investigating.
